How many transformations does frieza have
His tail is relatively thick in width, able to crack the ground when slammed. His "helmet"-type head has two horns that protrude in near 45 degree angles. Freeza decides that he will transform and show off his further stages, though, when prompted by Vegeta Freeza's second form is an almost complete opposite of his first form, in terms of general physical structure. The two horns on his head now protrude straight out to the sides, and then sharply both turn directly up into the air.
Freeza's muscle tone is exponentially increased, which can be clearly seen on his chest and stomach areas. Freeza's raw strength and speed also increase while in this form. Piccolo, after merging with Nail, appears to be at a near fighting stand-still with Freeza in his second form. Many people confuse Freeza in his second form with King Cold in his only form that the viewers ever see. Perhaps King Cold remains in a second-form, or perhaps King Cold is what an older, adult first-form looks like When Freeza decides that he must transform into his third form, he states that no-one has ever seen this form before which leads us, as the viewers, to realize that Freeza, even only in his second form, has been more than enough to trample over any fighter he has since come across in the universe.
The third form is the strangest of the bunch, but also helps set up an amazing contrast that will lead into Freeza's fourth and final form. In this form, Freeza's neck elongates causing his face to somewhat shift around. His nose almost completely disappears, somewhat merging with his mouth. The back of his head shoots back and grows another set of horns, all of which slightly curve into the air, now. Main article: Cosmic Suit. In Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 , via training in his Fifth Form in the Frieza's spaceship missions, Cooler manages to obtain the even more powerful Metal Cooler form, this form appears identical to the Meta-Cooler cyborgs manufactured by the Big Gete Star, but is different from them in that it is not robotic.
The form is identical to Cooler's base form but with a pure metallic Bio Suit, resembling a Cosmic Suit , worn over it, resulting in a form superior to Cooler's fifth form.
Zarbon's race are shown to possess two forms, a " Base Form " and a " Monster Form ", both forms have been referred to as the race's "true form" on different occasions and so it is unknown which of the forms was created by this ability.
Zarbon does not like the idea of transforming due to the form's ugly appearance, and he prefers his beautiful appearance, but he does transform when faced with a very strong opponent, as his Monster Form overwhelmingly increases his power. Saganbo believed Yuzun was unbeatable in Monster Form, but like Zarbon before him, he is defeated by Vegeta. In the anime, Ganos undergoes a transformation into a larger, more muscular avian form: his True Form. Ganos used this transformation during the Tournament of Power to battle Master Roshi.
Despite being stronger than him, Ganos is overwhelmed by Roshi because Roshi has more experience. In this form Ganos can increase his power every second he struggles against his foes, ultimately overpowering Roshi. Master Roshi even states that at this rate, Ganos might become a threat to Goku and the others. In Battle Mode, the Chief takes on a form that resembles a cross between a Dinosaur and an Ogre with multiple eyes and arms.
Though the form increases the Chief's power, it is still no match against Beerus. The Mixxileean Time Breaker Tock is able to transform into a more powerful state by eating second form Frieza's cut off tail which had been servered vis Krillin 's Destructo-Disc that had been infused with Nail 's Ki by Towa. In this state, Tock takes on traits of Frieza's second form.
Frieza uses these transformations some point prior to the Genocide of the Saiyans in order to transform into his first form as a way of suppressing his overwhelming power. Zarbon takes his Monster form when he is being defeated by Vegeta in Namek , and after transforming, he is able to defeat the Saiyan prince. He later transforms again to fight Vegeta after he escaped Frieza 's custody. However, due to Vegeta's Saiyan Power , Zarbon's power in his transformed state is not enough and he is killed.
In the Funimation dub, Zarbon stated that Vegeta is the first person to see his grotesque form a second time. During the Battle on Namek , Frieza used the transformation ability to take on his second and third forms during his battle against the Dragon Team.
Frost uses the first form at the start of his battle with Goku, and then progresses into his assault form to combat Goku. Cooler uses the fourth transformation in order to combat Goku. Kuriza used the transformation at some point prior to his attack on Earth during Nekomajin , in order to go to his first form. Having fused with nail, Piccolo displays unprecedented speed and power and is able to match Frieza's Second Form in combat. This form has appeared in promo art, but no gameplay or official screenshots have been shown. Unwilling to be outdone, Frieza then transitions into his Third Form. This is easily his most bizarre and peculiar form, but is ever more powerful than the last. Frieza grows greatly in size, grows huge spikes from his back, and his skull elongates to a ridiculous length.

This form is sleek, returns him to his smaller size, but completely smooths out his body. No horns, no armor plating, just a clean version of Frieza's first form. In a way, this is the least intimidating of all his forms, but the sheer power it exerts could be felt by the Z Fighters before Frieza even began to fight. In this form, Frieza kills Vegeta and battles Goku.
Although it appears that he and Goku are evenly matched, it becomes clear that Frieza is still holding back. It is in this form that Frieza kills Krillin, spurring Goku into his first, unforgettable transformation into Super Saiyan.
This form was very prevalent in the initial release trailer. The existence of this form seems to invalidate the existence of the previous form, but it is nonetheless a real thing. After forcing Goku into his Super Saiyan state, Frieza is overwhelmed by the Saiyan's newfound power. Seeing no other alternative, Frieza draws on the full extent of his power and enters this form.
