Now for a few facts about the items you can craft with Dreamcloth. The items themselves only require a fixed amount of Dreamcloth and no other materials. Crafting any of the items does not trigger a cooldown for the item's crafting ability. You can practically make infinite armors based on the amount of Dreamcloth you have.

The full "set" of crafted epic armors is 2 parts. Belt and Pants. The belt requires 4 Dreamcloth and the pants require 6 Dreamcloth. That sums it to a total of 10 Dreamcloth which equals to a total of volatile elements 60 of each kind and Embersilk Cloth or 80 Bolts of Embersilk. If we suppose that a tailor uses all the ways possible to craft Dreamcloth except of the Dream of Destruction which is completely random since the materials it needs are based on whether you will win a roll or not , he will need 2 weeks minimum, or 14 days.

If a tailor is lucky enough to win 10 Chaos orb or he makes an arrangement with his guild to farm those orbs , he can craft two extra pieces of Dreamcloth reducing the time he needs to craft the 2 epics by week, requiring a total of 7 days.

Comment by Confirmed that they do not share a cooldown. Just made 2 in a row - from Dream of Azshara and Dream of Hyjal. The cooldown for each is indeed 7 days. Comment by I asked a gm how the dreamcloth cooldown worked, as i was puzzled about it. I had made all dreamcloth i could, except destruction, but they all showed the same cooldown which was weird as i did not make them in the same hour. Today i had gotten this answer when i logged on: Game Master GM Response: Greetings, I am Game Master Shorkyran and unfortunately my chopper was too slow so i was not able to catch you online.

Thank you very much for your report of this issue with the dreamcloth. It appears that this issue is currently spreading around and we are investigating the cause. I am sorry you are affected by this - our developers will do their best to solve the issue with this cooldown as soon as possible. I hope you enjoy your day and godspeed, while travelling through Azeroth! Comment by I don't mean to troll, as this is totally unconfirmed but I have heard it in a few places. Apparently if you create a dreamcloth in the zone sharing the same name as the dreamcloth cooldown you are using, there is a chance you can proc a 2nd dreamcloth.

Again I don't know if this is real, but it sure would be nice to find out :. Comment by Since the discovery that Transmute: Living Elements is influenced by the area in which you craft it in, I thought it possible that the Dreamcloth just might be, too. I'm sad to report that it is not. I casted Dream of Skywall by the entrance to the Vortex Pinnacle and nothing irregular double cloth or otherwise occurred. That means non Tailor caster DPS and healers have to either buy the leg enchant from the AH at crazy prices or rely on guildies and friends to use their once a week cooldowns to keep stocked with the materials.

Once we get epic patterns dropping from raids that need Dreamcloth too, how can it not become a very annoying bottleneck? Or what am I missing? Comment by It seems weird that both Dreamcloth and Chaos Orbs are bind on pickup. Comment by Xiuhtec The crafting action has a cooldown of 7 days meaning that from the second you complete your craft, a countdown will begin counting 7 days minus 2 hours 6 days and 22 hours.

Comment by now at least you're only competing with your fellow crafters for them. Comment by Note that all recipes that use Dreamcloth are sold from the Twilight Highlands vendors, which require level 84 to reach. If you have an alt with tailoring, you'll need to level that alt to 84 in order to use any of their Dreamcloth.

Comment by Mdj71 What i dont get is why there is so many different recipees for making dreamcloth. It seems rather stupid that they didnt just make 1 recipee with 1 week CD and then make it possible to make 6 dreamcloths.

Can anyone explain why they made it as it is now? Im guessing its because they wanted the different volatiles to be used. Comment by bkevol I miss the buff from being a shadow weave tailor, i was hoping to get 2 cloths from doing this If you want to calculate the time until you will have enough Dreamcloth, subtract one from the number of weeks required, but only if your first set of cooldowns is ready now.

Thanks to Dyskord for pointing this out, see his post for more info. This is a post about cloth requirements. There are also Volatile element requirements. Those are 30 of each element per week, for a total of volatile elements per week. Comment by What is the easiest volatile to farm? Comment by Your lucky, on my server they are going g a stack.

This will be very helpful in crafting dreamcloth. Personally, I have around chaos orbs sitting on various alts who no longer have any real use for them, it will be nice to be able to send these to my tailor to get dreamcloth crafted. I'm level 85 and have the appropriate skill level
